Student Mentors

Welcome to the Student Mentors page

What is a Peer Mentor?

A Peer Mentor is like a friendly guide in your school journey. They are older students who are here to help and support you, just like a big brother or sister.

If you ever have questions or feel a bit lost, you can talk to your Peer Mentor.

They’re here to share their experiences, give advice, and be a buddy when you need one. They want to make sure you feel happy and comfortable at school.

You can spot a Peer Mentor by their red jumper!

What is an Inclusion Officer?

An Inclusion Officer is someone who makes sure that everyone feels welcome and included at school. If you see someone sitting alone at lunch or feeling left out, the inclusion officer is there to help. They want everyone to be friends and have a good time together. Inclusion Officers make sure our school is a place where everyone feels valued and part of the team!

“I am here to help children with a problem. Listening and learning is important for children at Blackfriars, and I want to make sure they can get help if they need it. If you need me, I am wearing a Red Jumper.”

“I will help you to be kind to other students. I will help you if you need me to. If you need me, you need to look out for a Red Jumper.”
